About Me
As a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music with the Music Teachers National Association, I bring many years of professional experience as a concert pianist, private studio teacher, adjunct university faculty member, and also artistic director and faculty at European music festivals. I hold a Bachelor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Music degree from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. I have performed, and so have my students, at prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall. My students have also gone on to be piano performance majors at major university music schools.
I believe music study is more than learning notes — it’s a path to a lifetime of creativity, confidence, and meaning. My teaching blends technical mastery, artistic expression, and solid theory skills with performance opportunities that help students grow both as musicians and individuals.
Curriculum Overview
I offer two lesson track options based on students' goals and interest:
Hobby Track – 30 Minute Lessons
Perfect for: Beginners, casual learners, busy adults, or younger students
Rate: $55 per lesson (discount available for pre-paid lessons)
Designed for enjoyment and steady skill growth, the Hobby Track focuses on:

Advanced Track – 60 Minute Lessons
Perfect for: Dedicated students, competition participants, serious adult learners, and aspiring music majors
Rate: $85 per lesson (discount available for pre-paid lessons)
This track offers rigorous, personalized training, including:

Advanced technique, tone production, and artistry

In-depth study of repertoire from Baroque to contemporary

Complex rhythm, phrasing, and interpretation

Intensive scales, arpeggios, and technical work

Theory, sight-reading, ear training, and memorization strategies

Opportunities for national and international performances, including annual European music festivals
